ELABORATION
This wine has been made in Alella Vinícola since the beginning of the XXth century, although everyone knows it by the name of “Gualda” (Yellow), which is the colour of the original bottle capsule.

Pansa Blanca shows a very surprising facet in this wine, in the form of a generous wine.
The ageing is of an oxidative type, from “soleras and criaderas”, and it ensures the organoleptic regularity with the passing of time.

This wine’s solera dates back to the year 1976, the last year when “gualda” was produced as such. Nowadays, 100% of the solera casks are from that year and the concentration of all their components stands out due to the passing of time.

Very few bottles are produced per year to ensure the quality, the exceptionality and the ideal ageing of the wine.
This is done directly from the “soleras”, with no type of clarifying or cold treatment that could alter the organoleptic characteristics.
This is why, in these wines, we may find sediments that do not affect their quality.

TASTING NOTES
This is a generous wine of an amber colour with orangey highlights.

By nose it has intense, penetrating and spectacular aromas of dried fruit (toasted almonds, hazelnuts) and sweet chocolate and toffee notes. The alcohol is well mixed with the whole.

In mouth, it is initially fresh and balanced, and with a great deal of flavour. We find notes of dried fruit, wood and smoked elements.
After three decades, it has developed some unique aromas and flavours.
It has a long-lasting, intense and pleasant finish.
SUGGESTIONS

It is extraordinary as an aperitif and ideal for accompanying soups, consommés, white meats, blue fish, cured cheeses, game and red meats.
It also adapts well to oriental cooking and, why not to a good plate of ham?

SERVING
The ideal temperature for it to be served is 16º C.
