ELABORATION
This year’s varietal base was shared by Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Grenache and Merlot, complemented with a small proportion of Syrah. All these varieties were produced separately until they were aged in casks in which the final blend was made. Ageing lasted 12 months in 225, 300 and 400 litre French oak casks.

TASTING NOTES
It is cherry-coloured, has an intense aroma of forest fruits (berries), balsamic, spicy, somewhat floral, with liquorice notes and smoked nuances, with a balanced palate, a polished tannin, a medium structure, with notes of red fruit, smoked elements and toasted nuances in the aftertaste.

SUGGESTIONS
Its combination goes very well with dishes like the Iberian cold meat assortment, snails, Catalan sausage with beans, beef entrecote, meat brochette, lamb chops and charcoal-grilled suckling lamb middles, round of beef, sautéed mushrooms...
